Brian Greene

Our second speaker is Brian Greene, a world-renowned physicist and author.

Much of his career has been devoted to researching superstring theory, which some scientists believe may provide a unified theory of the universe through quantum physics. He has also authored two bestselling books: The Elegant Universe (1999, W. W. Norton) and The Fabric of the Cosmos (2004, Alfred A. Knopf).

Greene is Professor of Physics and Professor of Mathematics at Columbia University, where he also serves as co-director of the Institute for Strings, Cosmology, and Astroparticle Physics (ISCAP).
