Brian Greene

Our second speaker is Brian Greene, a world-renowned physicist and author.

Much of his career has been devoted to researching superstring theory, which some scientists believe may provide a unified theory of the universe through quantum physics. He has also authored two bestselling books: The Elegant Universe (1999, W. W. Norton) and The Fabric of the Cosmos (2004, Alfred A. Knopf).

Greene is Professor of Physics and Professor of Mathematics at Columbia University, where he also serves as co-director of the Institute for Strings, Cosmology, and Astroparticle Physics (ISCAP).

Join us at the Paramount Theater on Tuesday, Feb. 28 to welcome Brian Greene to Austin. Individual event tickets are now available.

I don't know anything about physics, but Brian Green is an inspiring speaker. It was so good to see something new, out of my usual realm of interest and find such an amazing amount new, intriguing information and be mesmerized for 2 hours. loved it.
